天然鯰のなまず丼と刺身を出す店「ますや」

埼玉県吉川市にある「割烹ますや」さんでは川魚を扱っています。特に鰻と鯰が評判で、今回はなまずを頂いてきました。天然の鯰を扱うお店で、古くは250年前から扱いがあり、当時から継ぎ足されたタレがたっぷり染み込んだなまず丼は名品中の名品です。※お刺身は養殖なまずが使われています。

Kappo Masuya, located in Yoshikawa City, Saitama Prefecture, specializes in freshwater fish. Their eel and catfish are especially popular, and this time I dined on catfish. This restaurant specializes in wild catfish, and has been serving them for 250 years. Their catfish bowl, smothered in a rich sauce that’s been added to since then, is a true masterpiece.
